I REALLY really want new bedroom furniture. What I have isn’t cutting it (I mean come on a teenager with flowerery furniture) I want a Full sized bed, our little puppy sleeps on my bed and she isnt to happy about the lack of room either. A tall upright dresser, mine is horizontal and it is just to tempting to dump junk on it, i want a new night stand too. I mean it doesn’t have to be expensive but I not going to live with this furniture. We are painting my trim white and my furniture is like a really light FAKE wood with the child like flowers. All I want is white FURNITURE is that to much to ask. So how can I talk my parents into new bedroom (white) furniture and get rid of this 3 year old’s junk?????????????? Help school starts again soon and I want my room done before then.
Another thing my Mom says that painting over those flowers is not going to happen. But I don’t see the problem and the thrift store is a really good idea.
I know I sound very greedy but just so you know I have never picked out my own bed in my life! And I have only had three the first one broke so they had to buy me a new one it was one of those loft beds, then we moved and my mom came here by plane and bought the flower set I have now. All I ask is that I get some say in what I get next. not greediness.
Are you a new parent? If so, you will soon learn that this joyous occasion is an expensive one. If you are like most new parents, you are on a strict budget. Although you want to give your child the best, right now you may need to take the cheaper route. Luckily, you can have the best of both worlds by visiting Craigslist.org.
Craigslist is an online classified website that has increased in popularity over the past few years. More Americans are using the service to buy, sell, and trade a wide range of products, including baby supplies. If you need cheap baby clothes, toys, furniture, or baby room decor, give the website a close look. Chances are, you will like what you see.
Okay, you now know that you can find cheap baby clothes, toys, room decor, and furniture on Craigslist.org, but what next? If you are new to using the online classified website, visit the main website. From there, select your state and then the nearest city. After doing so, you will arrive at your city page. Look to the left-hand side of the page. There, you will find a search box. Use a related keyword phrase, such as baby, baby clothes, baby furniture, or crib.
After performing a Craigslist search, you will arrive at your search results page. This lists all items that meet your criteria. Since many parents sell their baby’s outgrown furniture, toys, and clothes and since many Americans now use the website to buy and sell, expect to see a lot of listings. It is not uncommon for you to find 5 or more baby cribs for sale just in your immediate area. For that reason, don’t offer to buy the first crib you see. Read all for sale postings and price compare to find the best deal. Remember, you don’t just want to buy baby supplies, but cheap ones.
It is easy to perform a search on Craigslist.org, but not if you leave near two different cities listed. You must visit each city page and search twice. However, you can search multiple cities at once with the free Craigslist Reader, offered by Motion Technologies.
Download and use the free Craigslist Reader to find cheap baby items on Craigslist with ease. Visit Motion Technologies, your one-stop resource for free searchable software for classified websites, like Craigslist.
Boomers, we have our first question from the audience! Rolo789 wants to know why his parents and their friends are such bad dressers. Have you noticed this? Are your parents fashion challenged? Why do you think that is? I think over the years, all the charitable donations, rummage sales, and clothing swaps have left them with only the few items that no one else would want. They can’t afford new clothes, and their fashion sense is stuck in decades past. What do you think Boomers?
