We are expecting, and recently just started looking for a crib and dresser set….but are finding that good quality comes at too high of a price for us. We’ve looked at USA Baby and Babies R Us, but can’t seem to find anything that won’t cost a fortune! We looked at Target and Walmart, but we’re not sure that their products will last as long as we’d like. We’re looking for a convertible crib so it will also be a toddler bed and eventually a twin bed. Does anyone know of decent stores or websites where we can find a quality furniture set for less than $700???

My husband and I are still looking for a Crib and Dresser that won’t cost us 300 or 400 dollars a piece. We looked at Baby R Us, Target ect and the ones that are in our price range got bad reviews. We tried craigslist but in our area people are telling Nursery Sets for 1000-1200 used…
We found a Crib that we like but now were having a hard time finding a dresser to match..Any advice…What did you spend on nursery furniture.
FYI, were living on just one income since I am laid off and will be a stay at home mom..So I want to keep things within budget.
