i have to baby cribs that are white by the manufacturer.. is it possible to paint them a dark wood color? to match the rest of the furniture? thanks and any site would be helpful.. my googling doesnt seem to pull anything up!

Hi,
well i have done it now. i have a cherry bed that i hated the red in. i put a deglosser on it and restained it in a dark stain to take the red out. before it dried, many mosquitos and baby gnats flew there and stuck. i haven’t put the poly on yet. what should i do? i have a feeling that i should lightly sand it, then put the poly on. i don’t know how i will keep the mosquitos off then. they are everywhere because of the floods. i’m so discouraged.
PS. I AM indoors. That’s just how bad the mosquitos are….
